Our Founder and Her Story
The beating heart of The Heartifacts Collective is Shubha Narayanan. Her eye for sarees and fashion is unmatched and unimpeachable. Where others look at fabrics and designs and see them for what they are, Shubha looks at the same things and sees them for what they can be and who can wear them. Her ability to turn a seemingly random assortment of textiles into a headturning design is incredible.
Shubha has always had an eye for designs and fashion, and after her friends and family repeatedly demanded that they also have access to her selections, she finally decided to start a collective in 2021 and make them available to the public. The Heartifacts Collective has now been responsible for putting thousands of smiles and sarees on clients. Once most of our clients buy a saree from us, they refuse to buy sarees anywhere else.
What sets us apart
- Punctuality. No following up. No excuses and no lame reasons as to why your product is taking longer than it should. The Heartifacts Collective sets deadlines and timelines, and either meets or beats them. Here at Heartifacts, the days of constantly chasing behind suppliers and listening to stories about why your purchase is delayed.
- Quality. Every saree that goes out is personally inspected and vetted by Shubha herself for imperfections, faults, and/or other defects. Clients are guaranteed to receive a perfect saree in their hands.
- Delivery. The saree leaves from India and arrives at your doorstep. Shipping is borne by the Heartifacts Collective, and we haven’t even had a single one go missing or get lost since our first shipment.
- Value for Money. Regardless of whether the saree is an exclusive Sabyasachi style film star design or a simple, classic kanjivararm saree, our prices never raise eyebrows. We price our clothes and our design services fairly for all clients, and we are not in the business of selling low quality, run of the mill sarees with massive mark ups. We are here for the long run, and most of our clients are repeat customers. It becomes hard to stop at just one.
